Steyn's opinion of Kerry

Thanks to the instapundit for pointing me to this scathing, scathing editorial on a recent sKerry rant and his insults to another friend.

My 2 cents worth on this.

By watching Kerry during his anitcs before the senate foreign relations I don't find his latest remarks about Mr. Allawi that unusual. It appears that Kerry will do anything, say anything or perform anything to get himself elected. John Kerry sold his fellow soldiers and his country down the road 35 years ago and it seems as if he has not changed a bit. It appears that he almost wants the war to fail and for bad news to continue so that he can use that information against Bush. I personally find it very similar to the tactics he used in the past. Shameful. I also agree with IBD, that he is unfit to serve. I hope the message gets out because the thought of him as president, is just well ... sKerry.

Happy Birthday Kayla

Today is my childs 13th birthday. Its a big day for her and she has been excited about it all week. I hope she has a wonderful day.

Are you a libertarian

Some time ago I told someone I was going to put up a few links to political questionaires so people could take them and see how they score and maybe discover their true political identity. I have taken all the ones posted below and found myself amongst the rank and file libertarians. As far as political parties go, not a bad thing. I mean I could be in the "stronger at home - respected around the world crowd", OMG. Didnt he just flip off Allawi .. never mind.. different subject.

Try a few on yourself and decide.

  • A quick and easy political party determination test is here
  • Libertarian Purity test can be found here
  • And this one is kind of cool, it has a neat little graphic that "places you somewhere in the country" where you might agree with your neighbors more.

Go ahead and answer truthfully, you may find out your true self.

Canadien health care

Here is some interesting reading about Canadien socialist healthcare.

American healthcare may be getting expensive, but it is a system that works and still allows for choice. I do not believe our governement can control health care costs nor can they control the bureaucracy that would certainly be created with a government run system.

Forgeries, no doubt

This guy has it down, and he has the resume to back up his proof that the 60 minutes documents were forgeries. It is harder reading, but it is damn pure proof as far as I am concerned.
Thanks to allahpundit for pointing me there.

Stress Relief

It appears the the Keys will be spared the blow from Hurricane Ivan. Whew !!. I do feel bad for the people in the panhandle area however, as they no doubt are stressing out at least as bad as I was and maybe a little more. The thing (hurricane Ivan) is geting closer to them and has got to weigh heavely on their minds and will more than likely stay a cat 4 or 5. My prayers for them.

I just heard that the evacuation order for the keys was lifted at 0500 this morning, so the South Bound roads will be busy. I will try and not venture out on them to often today. So welcome home to our neighbors to the south.

Subject: Update from John Hopkins Health Center

John Hopkins has recently sent this out in their newsletters.
This information is being circulated at Walter Reed Army Medical
Center.

Dioxin's - cancer causing agent from plastic.

FISK BEGIN

Dioxin Carcinogens cause cancer. Especially breast cancer.

DUH .. all carcinogens cause cancer, even daffodils.

Don't freeze plastic water bottles with water in them as this also releases dioxin from the plastic. Dr. Edward Fujimoto from Castle Hospital was on a TV program explaining this health hazard. (He is the manager of the Wellness Program at the hospital.)

Wellness, the word of the ZEROS

And Castle hospital ? you got to be kidding me ... LMFAO .. should have been General Hospital ... ba ha ha ha ha ha

He was talking about dioxins and how bad they are for us.

I would'nt eat a dioxin even if you put liver on it with ONyon

He said we should not heat our food in the microwave using plastic containers. This applies particularly to foods that contain fat.

ooh that bad fat again ... wheres the SUV in this, I smell a conspiracy ???

He said that the combination of fat, high heat, and plastics releases dioxin into the food and ultimately into the cells of the body. Dioxins are carcinogens and highly toxic to the cells of our bodies.

Didn't we decide at the beginning of this letter that dioxins were carcinogenic???

Instead, he recommends using glass, corning ware, or ceramic containers for eating food. You get the same results, without the dioxin. So such things as TV dinners, instant Ramin and soups, etc., should be removed from the container and heated in something else.

Why do I think that any dioxin leeching is going to occur way way before the 5 minute heat and eat cycle. BS, PURE BS. I need to find the molecular structure of this and fisk it out too ..

Paper isn't bad but you don't know what is in the paper. Just safer to use tempered glass, corning ware, etc. Remember when some of the fast food restaurants moved away from the foam containers to paper? The dioxin problem is one of the reasons. To add to this: Saran wrap placed over foods as they are nuked, with the high heat, actually drips poisonous toxins into the food, use paper towels intead.

OK, WTF, there is a war on, but I am sure John Kerry can take care of the dioxin problem, he is an expert on everything .. OMG .. and .. SHEESH

END FISK

OF Course, I got the regular message of pass this on as seen in italic
Please pass this on to your family & friends, & those who are important in your life.

You have to be kidding me, IF YOU THINK I WILL SPAM MORE BULLSHIT OVER THE INTERNET >>>>>>>>>>>>
waste bandwidth, slows the porn downloads ... ... lmfao

Ivan satellite loop

Here for a loop look at Ivan

knarley eh

Hurricanes Suck !!

I just got home from work a little while ago, had to start all over with the huricane preps. Hurricanes are one of those "things" you deal with when you live in paradise. I guess there is a price for everything.

  • The water is almost all gone off the shelves already.
  • The gas lines are already long here in Key Largo.
  • The North bound traffic is very very thick. ( I don't blame them)
  • I really do not care to see what kind of damage a 145 mph + wind can do to me.
  • They stop selling beer when a warning is posted. (wtf)
  • I need to fill my coolers with ice. (work, i'd rather be fishing)
  • <>Shutters. (suck)
  • Tree Pruning
waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

I wish I had a generator. !!!!!

Some Kerry concerns

I am afraid of John Kerry and what he might do to our country. Some thoughts

At Kerry rallies they have a banner that says "A Stronger America."

How do you make America stronger by giving the United Nations veto power over U.S. troop deployments?

How do you make America stronger by pandering to Euroweenies who want to see their economic status improved by weakening America?

How do you make America stronger by voting against virtually every weapons system that is being used today in our fight against Islamic terrorism?

How do you make American stronger by reducing our intelligence budget?

How do you make America stronger by pushing a hideously flawed global climate treaty that would cripple American industry?

A Vote for kerry, is a vote for Bin Laden

Key West in Ivans Path 1100 AM

Ivan's new path. I still have no desire to ever see a 145 mile an hour wind.

Ivan the terrible ??????

The latest path projections has Ivan up my but.
I am so glad I only took down a few panels.

The friendly skies of delta ... NOT

This from Malkin, I can't believe the way Delta Airlines treated this soldier. WTF

Keys livin

Well, I have decided to take down some shutters because it is too dark in the house and I feel like a cave dweller. I have tomorrow off so I will take the ones down that are easy to get to. I will not move them far from there current positions, just off the windows.

I had to chop up some trees today so they could be picked up by the waste guys. Speaking of which, why is it that we have to chop them up to 4' pieces or smaller and bundle them. WTF, don't we pay enough per year for garbage removal ?? Especially after a topical storm or hurricane, when you know there will be a lot of vegetative waste, you would think that we could get a break. OK enough whining on that issue.

I am not sure how this trackback shit works but I like this guy. He cracks me up, very course. But here are some random thoughts from acidman

This blogging is fun

I think profiling is acceptible. So does this guy Michael Smerconish , a Philly talk show host and columnist. It appears government officials are attacking Smerconish for advocating common-sense profiling. Read it, he makes sense.

More wind ?

Charley, Frances and here comes Ivan
I am getting soooo tired of hurricanes.
Maybe this one will skirt us. One can only hope.

Kerrry in trouble

John Kerry could be in trouble. It appears the US navy is going to get on his ass for his BS about his medals. As far as I am concerned, I hope he has to admit to all the "lies" -- as drudge would say -- developing..

Hope everyone has a nice labor day.

frances

Well first of all I really want to say that this is my first post and thanks to blogspot for allowing me here.
Frances was a big and long lasting blow and appears to have caused a lot of damage but not as bad as Charley was 2 weeks ago. I went to the Crib this morning on the way home from work to get a birdseye view of the bay and noticed lots of wind and whipped up seas with water close to the top of the dock. Got home around 0900 and went to bed, but I was awakened around 1400 from shutters vibrating due to some serious wind. I tried the TV but the sattellite was out which sux. I decided to go to the friends house in Florida City and noticed that Gilberts had about a foot of water in the parking lot. I hope that they did not get too much damage. I did get a few nice gusts of wind on my trip to work, and I think they were more powerful on Sunday than they were on Saturday and it made me think that I do not want to see a 145 sustained wind ... ever.

OK, that is my post so far, I wanted to put somthing down. Now I will publish this and see what it looks like. ciao
